OUTSIDE
The sun is shining and there’s not a cloud in the sky. Our team can arrange for your wedding ceremony to be outside at our pergola on the lawns for up to 150 guests, where you can exchange your vows surrounded by nature.
THE NEST
Something more casual and informal for your wedding breakfast? Nestled within Skylark Brasserie, The Nest is our newest private dining space. Available for up to 18 guests, enjoy complete privacy with the doors closed or embrace the atmosphere of Aberdeen’s newest bar and brasserie and enjoy the vibe.
INVERY ROOM
For something more intimate with a timeless elegance is our Invery Room. Available for up to 40 guests with a couple of layout options. Doors open onto a terrace for when the sun comes out.
COURTYARD ROOM
As your guest list grows, you might want to consider our lovely Courtyard Room for up to 250 ceremony guests. Here you’ll also find space for 120 guests for dining, a bar and a dedicated dancefloor when the band rocks up.
GRAND BALLROOM
For those dreaming of a truly grand celebration with as many family and friends as possible, then this is the room for you. An impressive setting for up to 350 guests, there is a spacious bar area and large dancefloor where even the largest ceilidh gathering could enjoy a Strip the Willow.
THE CUSHIE
The Cushie is the perfect setting for an intimate wedding drinks reception. With a carefully curated selection of wines, premium spirits, and whiskies, from easy-drinking favourites to rare and exceptional finds, it offers something for every guest. Relaxed, welcoming, and unhurried, The Cushie is a place where friends and family can enjoy great conversation in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Available for exclusive gatherings of up to 40 guests.

Your special day has arrived.
For the bride to be, her bridesmaids and closest family can head to our new, beautifully designed dressing room, providing the perfect place to prepare. Complete with full-length mirrors, lots of lighting, styling station and highchairs for make-up artists to work their magic. There is plenty of seating, a coffee machine, drinks cabinet and garment steamer for those last-minute creases in the dress. It’s the place where everyone emerges wedding ready.
Meanwhile, family can settle any pre-ceremony nerves with a cocktail in our glass-domed Skylark Brasserie or The Cushie for a perfectly poured, cold pint.
Our South Lawn is our home to a new dedicated cigar shack, the perfect spot for a dram and cigar with friends.

When it comes to the ceremony, you are spoilt for choice.
You might be heading to a local church or the registrars before returning to Marcliffe to celebrate, or perhaps you prefer to host your entire day with us.
That could be a one-day event or make a weekend of it, where we can help arrange golf and spa treatments for the ultimate stay.
GLADYS
Gladys is our gorgeous mobile bar, available outside on the terrace and lawns throughout the day. While the newlyweds explore our eight acres of grounds for photographs, guests can relax with a cocktail or glass of fizz after the ceremony.

Your day is nearly over, and all the organising has paid off, so it’s time to finally switch off and relax.

For the perfect wedding album pictures, we recommend a timeless image on our sweeping staircase in Reception. Looking for a secluded spot? Then out to our gardens where it wouldn’t be Marcliffe without a picture at our round gated archway within our walled garden.
