Sink into plush surroundings and enjoy our carefully curated bar menu, traditional Afternoon Tea, or a perfectly crafted drink beside the fire. Choose from an extensive selection of fine wines, spirits, and signature cocktails, all served with effortless charm and attentive hospitality.
Steeped in character, this enchanting room pays homage to Scotland’s rich heritage. Original artworks by Scottish artists adorn the walls, alongside a striking mural inspired by the surrounding landscape, creating a sense of place that is both warm and evocative. A thoughtfully displayed collection of artefacts, gathered by the Spence family over generations, adds depth and storytelling to the space, each piece a quiet celebration of Scottish culture and tradition.
The bar menu is served Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 5pm, with last orders at 4.30pm. Afternoon Tea is served Monday to Saturday 1pm - 3pm until 8th August in our Drawing Room and Wednesday to Sunday 1pm to 3pm from 12th August.

Afternoon Tea At Marcliffe...
Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea served in the elegance of our historic drawing room. A carefully curated selection of finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and delicate patisserie is accompanied by an exceptional choice of teas, served at a leisurely pace.
Afternoon Tea is served Monday to Saturday 1pm - 3pm until 8th August in our Drawing Room and Wednesday to Sunday 1pm to 3pm from 12th August.
Our Conservatory Restaurant serves Afternoon Tea Thursday to Saturday 1pm - 3pm until 8th August and Thursday to Sunday from 1pm - 3pm from 13th August.
