Winter Afternoon Tea at Marcliffe invites you to linger a little longer. Settle into the warmth of our Drawing Room and enjoy an unhurried afternoon.

Enjoy seasonal treats from freshly baked scones, delicate pastries and thoughtfully crafted treats, all prepared by our in-house pastry team. It’s a comforting, indulgent way to spend a winter’s afternoon.

For those looking to make the occasion even more special, add a glass of Champagne or Prosecco and enjoy a truly indulgent high tea experience in Aberdeen.

Magical Witches & Wizards Afternoon Tea

Step into a world of winter magic with Marcliffe’s Magical Witches & Wizards Winter Tea.

Created especially for our youngest guests, this enchanting afternoon tea is filled with playful, wizard-inspired treats designed to spark imagination and delight.

Little witches and wizards are warmly encouraged to arrive in their finest robes, adding to the sense of occasion, before settling in for an afternoon of spellbinding fun.

During their visit, they’ll discover a truly special friend and resident of Marcliffe, Dobby the House Elf, gifted to our team by J.K. Rowling herself.

For those joining us in November and December, the magic continues as little ones are invited to send their Christmas wishes through our enchanted post box to Santa.

A wonderfully imaginative and captivating winter experience, filled with charm, wonder and just a touch of mischief.

Après-Ski Brunch at Skylark Brasserie

It may be cold outside, but inside Skylark Brasserie, a chic alpine escape awaits...

Guests begin with an Alpine Royale before settling in to enjoy generous, comforting dishes with a nod to winter in the Alps.

The mood is relaxed and sociable, with food designed for sharing and lingering over as the afternoon unfolds. As glasses are gently replenished, the atmosphere builds.

Our DJ lifts the mood with a soundtrack of familiar, feel-good classics, carrying you from a relaxed lunch into that unmistakable après-ski spirit, joyful, sociable and just a little carefree.

To finish, something sweet and warming, the kind of treat that makes an unhurried afternoon feel just right.

Join us for our beautifully seasonal, hands-on festive wreath making masterclass with Kirsty Thomson of Flower Vogue, Aberdeen’s much loved family florist of more than 55 years.

Kirsty and her team bring fresh blooms to our Reception every week, and this workshop is a wonderful chance to learn from her directly and create a wreath to take home, the perfect cosy touch for the season.

Enjoy a relaxed two-hour masterclass, guiding you step-by-step as you craft your own festive wreath using the colours and textures of winter. All materials are included, and every guest leaves with their finished wreath.
