Christmas Eve
Arrive and settle into the warmth of Marcliffe, where your festive escape begins with a specially curated Winter Afternoon Tea. Created by our talented pastry team and served in the elegant Drawing Room, it’s the perfect way to ease into your stay. Afterwards, retreat to your room to relax before enjoying a beautifully prepared three-course dinner in the Conservatory Restaurant offering a refined start to your Christmas.
Christmas Day
Wake to a leisurely full Scottish breakfast, accompanied by a glass of fizz - the perfect beginning to Christmas morning as you exchange gifts and spend time with loved ones. Later, savour a memorable Christmas Day dining experience in one of our dining spaces. As evening falls, return to the Drawing Room to unwind with a selection of savoury bites in a cosy, celebratory setting.
Boxing Day
Extend your festive escape with an additional night of indulgence. After a relaxed breakfast, we’ll transport you to His Majesty’s Theatre to enjoy Goldilocks and the Three Bears pantomime. Return to Marcliffe for dinner in The Conservatory Restaurant, before a restful night and a final full Scottish breakfast prior to departure.

On arrival, make your way to the Drawing Room and settle into a comfortable seat by the fire. Surrounded by the warmth, character and timeless charm of this inviting space, take time to unwind as you enjoy a specially curated flight of three Corney & Barrow wines.
Served alongside are a selection of seasonal canapés, including wild mushroom arancini with aged parmesan, slow-braised Aberdeen short rib croquettes, caramelised onion and Gruyère tarts, and a warming gingerbread sticky sponge.
Afterwards, check-in to one of our luxurious bedrooms, where sumptuous bedding, elegant interiors and thoughtful touches create the perfect retreat for a winter evening.
Then choose where to dine, whether in our tranquil fine dining Conservatory Restaurant or under the glass dome of our vibrant Skylark Brasserie, where seasonal dishes are served in a relaxed, contemporary setting.
The following morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before taking advantage of a late check-out at 1pm.
